Cyclamen
This is a hardy, compact plant well suited to the colder weather with blooms that last for months. Despite being a delightful indoor plant, cyclamen tend to grow outdoors under trees or on banks and borders. They can also be found with early-flowering woodland plants like snowdrops, primroses, and winter aconites.
A cyclamen plant is an excellent indoor plant, allowing you to add a touch of colour to your space during winter
Country of Origin:
Native to the UK, but now also grows natrually throughout Europe and as far east as Iran.
Size:
Reaches up to 8 inches (10cm) in height and in width in 2 - 5 years.

They will also thrive under artificial and grow lights (if they are placed minimum 60 inches above it.)
Water: Cyclamen enjoy lightly moist soil year round. weekly watering in the summer, though in the colder months only water once every 3 to 4 weeks. Water only when the top inch of soil is dry
As a rule of thumb water 50ml per 10cm of pot for this plant.
This plant will handle British unfiltered tap water.
Humidity: This plant does best in moderate humidity 40% - 60% RH is ideal. Weekly misting in less humid areas benefits the plant.
Temperature: This is a winter plant so 10c - 15c is ideal. The plant can tolerate temperatures as high as 20c but avoid placing it in overly room warms or in direct sunlight. If the plant becomes too warm the leaves will fade, turn yellow and die.
